I'm looking for a little advice about some PCCB disks I bought in error a long time back. I thought I was getting PCCB2 for my 996 GT2 but they're actually a different size so I'm putting them on eBay.

Part numbers are 997.351.03[1|2].90 front and 997.352.03[1|2]/91 rear.

Obviously they're for 997 but for some reason I thought 997 brakes were the same size as 996 for GT cars so I'm wondering if they're some sort of motorsport item of limited interest.

If anyone can help me identify and value these I'd greatly appreciate it please. They're like new apart from a couple of small chips at the edge which according to the assessment manual from Porsche are within tolerance.

Cheers
Andy

Interesting thanks very much.

So they're plain old ordinary 997 gt disks...

That's good news I guess. Anyone know the sort of money they've been going for?

There are some (from memory, 996 unused ceramics) advertised on the PCGB forum for £1800.

Edit: front only.

"1 pair of 996 PCCB front ceramic discs - BRAND NEW! These are the 2nd Gen version of the PCCB system and were mounted to the car at OPC Reading. The car was taken to JZM and then the discs replaced with Alcon steels. The discs have been in storage in boxes ever since. I also have a pair of rear PCCB discs that, whilst not brand new, are perfectly serviceable and were replaced with Alcons at the same time as the fronts. astonishingly these would cost more then £7500 new - £1800 "

I know you said they do not fit a 996 GT2 but would they fit a 996.2 GT3 that was originally specified with ceramics and has the yellow callipers?
If so I'd be interested. Thanks

I think they're the same as 996gt2 to be fair, i'm still waiting for the main dealer to tell me what they will fit.

If you have the measurements I'd definitely measure for you but it's risky with potentially different offsets and thicknesses

Thanks for that, I agree its risky doing it the mechanical way as you are bound to miss a little bit of offset or something here and there. I'll do a sneaky check with the main stealer and let you know the outcome.
Cheers.

Just checked with OPC and they spent a little time looking but advised they won't fit.
Never mind, it was an opportunity only if they fitted and it was worth checking. If you find out otherwise please mail me.
Thanks
