Recommend a nice hotel in Perthshire/Edinburgh area

It looks as if we may be running an errand to Edinburgh on Saturday so I suggested that we may as well make the most of it and spend the night away, just to unwind, and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Can anyone recommend a sensibly priced, nice hotel in the above areas?

I'm not looking to spend much more than £200 for the night

Go through booking.com (or similar site) and you'll have enough for a lovely dinner there too

Got a good deal at Greywalls near Gullane through a booking site earlier this year. Very pleasant and gardens will be more enjoyable now its warmer. Certainly worth £150-£200 but not more. Roux run restaurant was very good too if you steer clear of the £4k bottles on the wine list!
