Can't decide, watch for my brother

I'm not a watch expert by any means so was after a bit of advice. I want to buy my brother a watch and have narrowed it down to these two but not sure which one would be more reliable and robust.

Of the three you've given I'd go Citizen (because the eco-drive means he won't need to feed it batteries, and it comes with a five year warranty). It's quite a unique style, shame the day-date is white. I rather like this slightly more coherent dial.

The Casio is massive - 49mm!! - so check it would fit your brother's wrist rather than his ankle.

Also, take a look at Seiko, their mid-range quartz movements are some of the best available. Generally, the Ronda movements in the Roamer are less efficient than their Japanese counterparts ( ref).
