GAP Insurance

I've got a car on PCP, had it for nearly 12 months of a 24-month contract. Not got GAP insurance.

Reading posts here I'm starting to see the benefits of having it.

Is it possible to get the insurance for just the second year of the contract? How much does it usually cost?

For reference it's Merc SLK 250 CDI on 20k/yr contract paying £330/month.

Think GAP insurance has to be purchased within the first 3 months of ownership - but a quick google search to some of the top providers will clarify this for you.
