The price of vehicle recovery!
Actually we have a 2004 td4 and it has been excellent. The rear axle bushes need replacing, (100,000), no other faults
These are prone to go and can be checked by accelerating and then taking your foot off the accelerator, if you hear clonk at the back they may need doing (£120.00)

Ours has been.
The clutch master cylinder needed replacing, a very easy job.
Make sure you get two keys, and don't be fobbed off with the rubbish that you can get one on ebay etc if one is missing. They need to be programmed by the dealer (£160.00).
I wonder how I know this!!!!!
Get underneath and check it is actually 4x4, the IRD can fail and a trick is to remove the rear prop shafts to make a 2wd car.

Keys can done by a mobile auto locksmith and are a bit cheaper than that, but not by much. The clutch master cylinder needed replacing, a very easy job.

The keys can be, but try getting them programmed.....
I went to to of the best locksmiths in the area, both referred me to the main dealer. One of them gave me the key they had ordered and cut for free!.
That is next to the one that Timpsons said they could cut and program!
The mobile guys can do the programming too now. I had one done for a C-Max and a guy who works a few doors done had one done for his FL a few weeks ago. He was outside on the phone getting a lot of grief from his mrs at the time I went to to of the best locksmiths in the area, both referred me to the main dealer.
