I have followed a few lately…. Anyone else think the back of the new shape Civic is pig ugly?

To me it looks like they designed the car and then thought “oh hell we forgot the rear lights” and then went on to stick some on off another car!

The way they overhang... The indicators are also tiny…

Even the pre facelifted model looked odd at the rear with that strange back screen. Although I agree the new ones are ugly and odd! Which is a shame as I think the front end looks great.

It's horrendous! Worse than the old one and it's the light clusters which are the worse thing. Doesn't look as ugly on the estate version though.

Not a fan personally, but I'm hoping the Type R treatment changes that, like it did with the last generation - I really like the FN2 and hope the next Type R looks the business, if its anything like the recent concept (doubt it sadly) then I'll be in luuuuurv,

Then if they release it as an estate I'll buy one and my missus will shout at me.

I've got an Fn2 Type R which I quite like the look of but I'm not keen on the new one. It might be better in black and the new Type R is growing on me but I can't see me buying one.
