CV help

Sent out my application for about 4 or 5 jobs recently, most of which I have been more qualified for than was required in the job personal specification. So I am doubting my cv a little. As I have read over it I noticed I've said "I" a lot. "I am..." "I aim to.."

Should I be avoiding this?

Yes. Don't use the first person on a CV.

As stated, write in the third person and ensure it's outcomes rather than responsibilities based. Good luck!
