I'm sure the footage is elsewhere, but I found it on the DM:

At first I thought he braked because he almost went into the car in front of him, but it then became clear whoever was recording had ruffled his feathers in one way or another.
Reckless and dangerous all the same, lucky he didn't cause an accident because the lorry they just passed could easily have taken them both out!

I think I encountered his brother today.
Luckily, I saw the car approach the junction, saw the driver look right, then pull out. Didn't look to his left at all, which is where I was coming from. Luckily, I was doing under 20mph, and anticipated his ridiculous manoevre.
Then at the next junction he looked left, didn't look right, and made a car coming from the right slam on the anchors. I followed him until he turned off the main road, nearly running over a mother with a pushchair crossing the road at the time.
I should get a dash cam.

Looks like he was aiming to slot in behind the white van, but didn't expect the black car to pull over. Brakes after swerving into outside lane as thought was going to clip black car. Dashcam driver gives him full headlights and horn, so he does a brake test as he is a SuperGod driver.
Without that brake test he would probably have got away with it as just another bit of crap driving.
No excuses though, and, without traffic police, some drivers think they can get away with attempted GBH.

Probably had miles and miles stuck behind the community pace car, holding him up he loses his rag and makes a last resort effort to get by then gets grassed up by mr holier than thou.
Should not be allowed. There is not a driver on the road who does not break some motoring law, however minor on a daily basis. Would you be happy being grassed up, perhaps for driving at 75mph on the motorway? Not indicating? Being in the wrong lane at a roundabout?

There was a point raised (in the thread running parallel to this one) that perhaps the camera vehicle was holding people up and therefore pushed the Focus driver into performing the manoeuvre. Obviously we can only see one side of the story on the video but I should think that if someone can't control their temper to the point that they would overtake an HGV on the hard shoulder and brake test another car at NSL speeds, then a 12-month ban is probably required to highlight to them the error of their ways.

I think given the nature of what the Focus driver did, the driver of the camera vehicle was right to report it. We're not talking about minor infractions here either, as I would agree that everyone makes small mistakes - this was a deliberate and highly risky move to 'get revenge' on another driver. If Focus man is prepared to do it once, then it's safe to assume he would do it again, how many times would this have to happen before something nasty happened?Should not be allowed. He appears to be a moron of the highest order. Nothing justifies doing what he did. And to be quite honest, if dash cams allow psychopaths like him to be removed from the road, the more the merrier.

Really? There's a difference between breaking a minor law, speeding, making a mistake and what the focus did. I wonder if there was any previous between the two cars though?
I've had a dashcam for the last two years and have never reported anyone to the police but if that happened to me I would. I have posted a video of an old dear driving a Micra the wrong way roundabout on here.
