Road works

Just looked ta Google maps and there seems to be lots of roadworks on the way down the A28 and the e402. Did they cause much aggro?

No, not even Rouen, lots of people have routes for avoiding it, but even the last 2 years we've not had any problems there.

Thanks, last year there was the issue of the bridge at Rouen being out of action, but a detour from PH sorted that nicely.

coming back from lm we missed an exit at rouen and ended up going towards paris... no maps or gps we went back and was rerected through rouen 'direction dieppe'' and it was no hassle whatsoever.. actually got us ahead of the advance party

Some of the road works going down were lane restrictions due to verge mowing.

I wasn't sure what the speed limit was at these sections but we eased up!
