As I write this I'm having my head rebuilt before I have some further work done, and would like a dyno run to use as a baseline. I've been to Southways before and they're very good, but you all know that anyway.

Hopefully I'll have my car back next week, and be interested in doing it after that, although I haven't enquired about how busy they are yet.

If we bring 3+ cars at once, the cost comes down from £50 to £40 each. So, is anyone else potentially interested in clubbing together and saving a few quid?

edit: TankRizzo already expressed interest on AO, I haven't forgotten

Myself and a few of the modified Volvo lot were thinking about having another session there in the near future, maybe if we can get enough cars together, they'd drop the price a little more?

Ace. I'll make enquiries then - haven't properly checked with the calendar (GF) but I'm thinking maybe the weekend after this coming one.

I've had my TVR dyno'd by Southways. Might be interested in taking it again, or if might bring the Golf GTI or the Clio Cup. Either way, I'll bring something!! Or maybe all of them!

Better give Rich a call, the rollers are OOA at the moment, not sure when they will be back up.You can`t move in there for TVR chassis(s), very busy boys.

String 'em all together!

They're good aren't they. You get a beautifully laminated graph that you can hang up without concern in your shower, garden or blood spattered murder dungeon.

Ah, that's a bit of a spanner in the works. Cheers, I will do.

I'd love to but they won't dyno my C63 for some reason.

Over 550bhp? There's some exclusions: http://www.southwaysautomotive.co.uk/rolling-road-...

Hi it may not be the case now but I spoke to Southways nearly two weeks ago about a dyno session for the Tiv, there reply was " Sorry its out of action the cooling fan has blown up " as said it was two weeks ago so may well be fixed... Just thought I'd let you know.

Well, as someone else said, and FB pics from a week ago show, there's bits of TVR sat on it at the mo. I've emailed them to find out.

I miiiight be up for this depending on the date and so on as its a bit of a trek coming from Brigton. I want to get the Vx220 on the rollers to see if it really is making the suggested 290bhp smile

It's because the last modern merc they had on there threw a total wobbler where the rear wheels were going and the fronts weren't. Dealer only to get the warning light turned off.

This is what I was told, via the guy organising the last rolling road session for the Volvo lot.

Most probably because the car wasn't being run in dyno mode. I never had a problem at Surrey.

Right, heard back from Rich & it's as various others said - the fan is out of action, and they're pretty busy, but he'll let me know when they sort it. I did mention we could get a decent group together so watch this space.

I'd be up for this timing dependant once the rollers are up and running again. Just curious to see if the old girl puts out standard power at 11 years old.

If you know it'll be fine then it'll be good to see the AMG on the rollers mate.

Might be interested in this - at least it might sound OK even if its not massive BHP..... (should be reasonable though)
