With growing confidence in my band, I now tend to go wandering around during some of the songs (don't sing so no need to stay near a mic unlike the lead guitarist and bassist). Hence I keep running out of cable and trying to pull the pedal board after me.

The obvious solution is wireless, but which one? Based on a sample of Amazon reviews the Line6 Relay seems popular, but would welcome any thoughts from on here.

Just to update, based on advice from the guys in PMT I went for the Line 6 Relay G30. Only used it to sneak up on the O/H so far when she thought I was downstairs in my music room smile Will gig with it this Saturday and see how it goes.

Yep, PMT Cambridge. Think it was James I dealt with, very helpful lad.

Gig is Soham Beer Fest if you're in the area, we're headlining so I'm getting a bit nervous...

I thin it was James that explained the idea behind putting a boost in the effects loop. I've been pretty impressed with a few of the chaps in there. Apart from Ben who forced me to buy a Les Paul.. the swine wink

We are in Linton, not sure what the plan is for the weekend yet but in the unlikely event that it is clear then we'll pop over.

Nerves are good (or so Pete our other guitarist tells me).

What is on your setlist?

Few Thin Lizzy tracks, some Skynrd, Rolling Stones, Cream. Ted Nugent too. Finalizing the set list tomorrow night.

Sounds like a good set Tom, good luck!

Recently ordered a G50 only for it to be out of stock... have a G90 arriving tomorrow instead!
