ADI Advice again please...

After some top advice previously, what would you guys recommend in a test scenario here....

Emerging from the minor road to go right into the busier road, centre island isn't big enough to pull into and wait without leaving the rear end sticking out into the path of traffic approaching from the right, but the main road is very busy and if you wait for both ways to be clear before going then you're going to be sitting there for a long time.

You're on your driving test, what do you? Wait at the mouth of the junction till both ways are clear, or go halfway and cause a slight obstruction?

If it's a driving test,wait until it's clear wait long enough and the test instructor will direct you back and say you've past.
Having only traveled 500yards in 30-40 minutes.

That's what I said to junior, but she wasn't impressed Difficult to advise her, I know what I would do vs what you should do

For a test, always safety first, second and third.

If you would create a hazard by moving across, then you need to wait.
