In the absence of a decent Moroccan restaurant in South Cheshire it looks like I have to resort to DIY.(the cooking)
I've got some Ras el Hanout spice mix and a Tagine, anyone got any tried and tested recipes (the ones on the interweb seem to vary dramatically). Ideally with prunes and flaked almonds in the mix,got to be done.

^^^ That.

You have to make a cinnamon scented couscous to go with. It's fantastic.

I toast some pine nuts in melted butter, soak some sultanas, make up the couscous in a bowl with boiling water to cover, and just stir the lot together when the couscous is fluffy. Waft of cinnamon over at the end.
