Back on the road
Discussion
About time I posted an update.
Some of you might remember last August I had a coming together with another car on the road rendering my car with a slightly reshaped front end and not in a good way!
Well.. pleased to announce that a couple of weeks ago the car was back on the road and looking more gorgeous than ever.
Many Thanks goes to Plasticman for the all the fibreglass work and also Dave at http://www.dbrestorations.co.uk/ for the respray. Both did a fantastic job.
Looking a bit sad moments after impact...

A bit of a clean up and the extent of the damage can be more clearly seen...

Brand new bonnet and middle front made by Plasticman...

checking the alignment of Tuscan2 headlight pods...

In the body shop having the Tuscan2 Headlight pods smoothed in...

Back home after the respray...
Without badge...

Or with?...

Just the heat shield to do under the bonnet...

Out in the sun
...

How come you have a bolt beside the coolant fill? Is that a mod?
It's always been there. Looks original. part of the coolant housing bracket. I've got three bolts holding on that panel. One on the other side two on the side nearest the camera. I have seen panels held on differently so guess they just changed the ways as TVR does lol

Gazza doesn't mean holding the coolant res bracket he's referring to the one going through the scuttle panel at the side of the coolant cap don't think there is usually one there?I've got three bolts holding on that panel. Exactly But that bolt is attached to the bracket that holds the water bottle in place that Paul is showing in his pics. Edited by jackwibble on Saturday 28th June 15:42
On mine the bracket to the top left in Pauls pic between the battery and water bottle the bracket extends up forming an attachment point where that bolt in my pic is attached to.
