Cheapest ways to get second car insurance

Current insurance is with Axa on main car
I see they do temp cover but that's for 30 days only
It's for a 2004 ka so probably worth £1k and mileage a year 2k max
Whilst doing some online checks with no ncd it's coming back more than I would like for me or my wife at 30+
This is due to having bought another car and deciding what to do with it or ideally use it as trying to sell another car at the moment
Any cheap insurers out there?

I had the same recently and went to A-Plan. I guess any broker would do as they all have access to a number of different products.
They were able to get me a policy that reflected my NCD built on another car. Not all of it but enough to make it worthwhile.
As for multi car policies I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. They suck you in with cheap deals and then renewal time is a nightmare. An insurer that may be cheap for a particular car at a particular time is highly unlikely to be cheap for the same circumstance in a years time. That's why we all change once a year, after we've done the search engine thing. Why would anyone think differently.
Similar to protected NCD which is another con in my book.

Email or call up Axa and ask them if they will mirror your no claims, which they will for certain occupations. Then go online and get a quote inputting your no claims. When you get asked for proof of no claims you email them back stating your original policy number and they will refund 10% for a second policy too.Will ring them up first
