cleaning leather
Discussion
You have to be very careful when you clean leather, because if it has been previously conolised, the cleaner you apply may remove the dye previously applied. I normally use washing up liquid and water initially as it's a degreaser, then apply leather conditioner to feed the leather but firtst try it on an area that can't be seen to test its effect on the dye.

As Tony said...If the seats have been dyed then most cleaners will take it off...Depending how dirty...If it has ground in grime then there are leather cleaning alcohol wipes..First though i would gently clean with a really mild soap solution..Using a lint free clean cloth..No scrubbing...Then pat dry with a soft clean dry towel, Wait until thoroughly dry...You can then use the wipes and then a good feed and conditioner..
Cleaner and feed combined is rubbish if you think about it..So go for a good quality separate cleaner and conditioner.
Vinyl can just be cleaned with soapy water and dried with a towel.
Auto-glym is ok..Mcquires do some good stuff or there is furniture clinic

forgot to add, best way to get the leather food into the leather is to use your hands ... It stinks and is very messy, but the heat from your hands really helps work the food into the grain of the leather. obviously make sure its all cleaned and dried off before you jump in the seat with your best chino's
