Heading off to the Growl on Saturday morning from the northeast

Route is A1 down to Newark then A46, M69

Wondered if anyone on the route was heading down and fancied meeting to convoy up

Happy to adapt my departure time to suit if anyone is up for it

cheers

When you get to Leics forget the M69 and jump on the Fosse Way
Or get off the M69 on the A5 then onto the Fosse Way.
Your brain will be numb after the A46 and I guarantee you will enjoy the Fosse.

Sadly I can't be there this year but I hope it's a good one.

Have yet to decide if I am bringing my slightly battered Chimaera along (if invited) on the Saturday, but I did get excited and infer i would turn up in order to give a comparison between Gaz Monos and Gaz Gold Pros for the shocks geezer. Mine is the GGP car, Phazed has the Monos.

I live 1.5 miles from the A1/A46 junction at Newark, so a breakfast/coffee/pee stop or rendezvous will be available, and I will tag along too if I am going. What sort of time were you planning to be doing your fly by? Will your Griff look anything like the Vulcan Tuscan I saw over my back garden yesterday? At least, I assume it was the Vulcan Tuscan, the same one I saw at Burghley in April

I would probably be passing Newark about 9.30 if I stick to my original departure time, but I'm an early bird so I don't mind making it anything up to 2 hrs earlier to suit. I'm staying over but if you're going for the day then I guess you don't want to get there with the day half over!

Will have to give the plane analogy some thought

At what time does the action commence for the day? I am definitely only doing the one day.

Before you get there.
Seriously, about 9/9.30. A good few of us are out on the lash (and fininhsing with a curry run (no pun) into Stratford in the evening) the day before so will be a slow start for some of us.
