Cheap carbon fork for 26 V-brake

Hi. I would like to replace my heavy Suntour SR XCR suspension fork with rigid carbon fork. In my current suntour XCR showed some holes after winter use and it doesn't work well also. As i ride more on road than offroad i decided to buy a rigid fork. At first i wanted to buy CroMo fork because they are cheaper but i've read that carbon forks are better for rougher roads due to better shock absorption. Now i'm looking for some carbon one. I'm a college student from Poland so my budged is limited. I would like to spend for it no more than about 100$. I saw on AliExpress site that there are many carbon forks in this price but unfortunately they don't accept PayPal and i don't have debit card to pay for that. So i was looking on eBay, i have found there one carbon fork for 100$, it looks good but it's axle to crown length is 403mm and my suntour xcr has about 480 mm, i think it can change geometry on my bike too much. --> http://www.ebay.com/itm/HYLIX-Rigid-Straight-700c-...

I wanted to ask you if maybe u know any shops or can give me some andvice where i can order cheap carbon fork or where to search for that ? It must have V-brake mounts for 26 inches wheels.

The v brake mounts on that fork will not be in the correct place for 26" wheels.

Other than getting lucky with an ebay bid I'm not sure you'll get a carbon fork for your budget. These are just over budget, just get the one that matches your bikes geometry.

I've had 2 of these on different bikes, great forks. Trigon are very well thought of carbon fibre manufacturers.

Have a look at Exotic carbon rigids on Ebay. The wife has a set on one of her bikes and they seem well made. They also do V brake versions. They are sold by Bikefridge on Ebay.

I see that it can be hard to get carbon fork for about 100$. What do you think about CroMo forks ? Is there a big difference in shock absorption between CroMo and Carbon forks ? Does it really feel different ? Would CroMo fork be much worse if i would ride a bit offroad ?
