Editing gopro footage
Discussion
OK...I have the gopro software and Sony Vegas (latest version)
Last time I used it was last years holiday and I forget what I did!!!!
Am i right to do this....
Use the gopro software to edit the junk start and end off my footage and cobvert out of MP4 to AVI.....then take all the AVI clips into Sony for putting together/further editing, etc
Thats right?

Probably... though the GoPro software does have some fun tools you might like to play with before converting. Zooming in, panning up, changing saturation/hue etc etc... all piss easy.
To be honest unless I'm after something really polished, GoPro will do it all. Some cool title 'motions' too.

Alternatively download the recent GoPro studio software and you can edit them all together in one program...
Once you have 'converted' the clip, the next set of options is for the final edit.
i just found the sony stuff easy for the final edit - adjusting fade in/out, music track, etcOnce you have 'converted' the clip, the next set of options is for the final edit.
