It's a replica of the 2.8 RSR that won the 1973 Daytona 24 Hour race driven by Hurley Haywood and Peter Gregg. I say it's a replica without any specific knowledge of the car in the picture, since multiple sources say the original car no longer exists.

Need the chassis number to be able to say accurately .

Far from a replica,a few brumos rsr about.

Very nice!

I was at a historic meeting at Spa at the weekend and couldn't help notice the Porsches are...well...slow. As a result, not being up to speed with historics, i can't understand the big prices!

What cars would these be up against at the Silverstone Classic and other such events?

What cars are you referring to,and which races.
Our cars were doing 2.47 to 2.50 around spa on high wall historic treaded tyres,not slow at all.Also most historics the cars have to run to fia specs,bhp,and classes etc
