A few months a go I broke the bracelet on my stainless tissot watch. It's a fairly basic model and has been worn continually (as in never taken off even in the bath) for a number of years. I can't find anywhere locally to repair it that won't charge me £100+ for the two missing links that got lost when the bracelet broke. (The watch cost about £180 in the first place).

Has anyone got any suggestions on what I can do? Are there mail order repair shops or can I try to order the links myself and get a shop to repair it? (A local jeweller claimed that the couldnt' get hold of any and wouldn't I like to buy a new watch).

Or do I just suck it up and buy another watch.

If you have the original box be sure to check the two crafty hidden compartments inside. My GF's had spare links in there...

Have you tried CousinsUK for the broken links ?
They've supplied me in the past for an extra link for a PRS-200 I picked up that was short.

Apart from the above, the only other real route is to look on ebay for a whole replacement watch. If it was £180 new, should be much cheaper 2nd hand.
