Rob wells car is smoking hot despite cooler electrics

Its a few years since I last spoke to Rob..

Rob bought an early S2 Vixen from me to embark on a full restoration…

I have owned a good few vixens and if memory serves me I recall buying this particular one in Lyneham for about £1000. You could buy them for that sort of money then..

Anyhow.. A house move beckoned and a racing car required funding..









I dropped the car off for Rob and said that I would find him a new chassis whilst he took it to bits.. A new chassis was duly found and another intrepid vixen restorer embarked on a journey…















Now this car to me is very special..Its a proper restoration carried out over time by a proper guy in a single garage principally using his own skill and expertise and re-conditioning everything as he went..exatly what TVR's are all about..fettlers cars.

My hat is off to you sir. It looks stunning.
