At last - saw a Lancaster in the air

Yes, I'm a happy chap. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight were flying over Stirling on Saturday and for the first time I saw a real, live Lancaster in the air. What a beast!

The Spitfire, Hurricane and later on the Red Arrows were pretty good too...

We were at the BBMF at Conningsby last week and mighty lucky to see the Dakota and Lancaster taxiing then BOTH flying and the Lanc was pilot training so came back in to refuel, chatted with Pilots and saw it then take off again and do a low fly by. So so lucky!
The Typhoons also flying and one did an practice emergency response take off and he just went straight up on full power. Noisy, show off, lucky git!
