The veneer on the lid of my glove box is coming loose. What sort of glue would be best to stick it back?

Thanks.

It depends - is it veneer glued onto plywood?

In that case I would use a traditional PVA wood glue. Work it in nicely by squeezing in and squeezing back out, then repeat a few times.

Finally wrap it with plastic e.g. clingfilm or a sandwich bag, then clamp it down between two flat bits of wood.

Leave for 24-48 hours then peel off any excess glue - it should peel off easily where there is varnish.

There are also shellac based veneer glue's and that is really what you should use..It depends on how much is lifting..A good compact or impact adhesive should be better although its not a permanent solution...Ziga
