Anyone know what this butterfly is? Bad phone pic..

Had one of those,"well I've never seen one of those before"moments today, the brightest pink and black butterfly, about half the size of a red admiral, quite small.It was almost a flourescent pink,it was stunning,just the one on its own.The pic was the only moment it sat still, it looks really dull on the underside of its wings, red and black basically.

Hard to see but could be a Burnett moth.

It wasn't spotty at all on the tops side, large area of pink on each wing, surrounded by black.I just couldn't get over how pink it was,almost dayglo pink!

Cinnabar Moth.

Not all have spots,I have seen them where the spots merge into one another, Google image may show some of the different patterns.

Am not an entomologist but AFAIK moths rest with wings closed, butterflies rest with wings open.
