Dash storage box 57 reg Focus Ghia

The FiL has a 57 reg Ford Focus Ghia and mentioned that his dashboard storage box was broken (the clip to keep it closed I think)
He was quoted 220GBP (includes a 20% discount as he used to word for the company many years ago) to replace the whole box which seems a lot to me.

I've done a quick trawl of the web and it looks like it might be possible to get a replacement lid, but I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem or could point me in the direction of a friendly parts place who might be able to help him.

I stuck the lid down with Blu-Tack on my Mum's Focus about 3 years ago after the clip broke. It's never opened since.

I made enquiries at the time and was told the lid was not available and whole top section of the dash was required. Looks like they've made the part available now, but at £60 I think the Blu-Tack will be staying!
