What engine mounts is everyone using?

Unfortunately a long running issue became apparent in Le Mans, where by the engine obviously under load had been jumping, causing the top pulley to eat through the alloy head tank gradually! Had it welded in Le Mans but it has done it again.
Which is a major concern!

So is there only the standard mounts or are there better ones everyone uses?

Thanks for you time!

You can actually ignore that pulley if you don't have PAS & fit a shorter belt (@1140 rings a bell, but I've probably done it with different size pulleys). Probably a much better get-you-home than letting it chew the tank again in any case?

I replaced my knackered ones last winter with the SC ones and they've been fine. My old ones where starting to crack so anything would have been better than what was there.

Here's a thread from the Chimaera forum which might help
