Well, 66 hours to go and time to give some thought to the music in the tape deck and CD Player. It occurred to me that we all have our favourites. I'll share a couple of mine, in keeping with the classic feel - Queen, a day at the races; Pink Floyd, dark side of the moon;a bit of Peter Frampton and some Genesis

what's your favourite?

It's the Classic, so start with 60 minutes worth of music from '57 to '61, then 25 minutes of silence, them 60 minues of music from '62 to '65, then...

What? You mean you haven't prepared a special CD for the drive? Annual tradition!!

And you need to start with Matt Munro - On Days Like These. driving

The Motorsport Magazine podcasts are worth a listen if you fancy something different to music (or engine notes)

It's to avoid speeding tickets I reckon. On the other hand, something like 'Appetite for Destruction' could prove expensive! biggrin

Unfortunately i still have the original Pioneer cassette player in the Chim which works when it feels like it or just gives loads of feedback!! Suppose we'll just have to listen to the engine!!
