Hello

There used to be a guy in the UK selling vintage Tag watches with a great website covering the history/repairs , had some lovely 70's Monaco's etc. Sadly i can't find the link and wondering if anyone knew of it please ( or others ).

Thanks

Nic Green dropped the Heuerboy name a while back.

RickAlfas is correct, this is his site now - http://chronomatic.com/home.html

Unsure what that has to do with OP as the chap sells * Vintage tag watches * and lovely 70's Monaco's etc ( Vintage Tag Heuer - as per title ) , but thanks anyway.

Some lovely stuff on that site.

The point is that there is no such thing as a 'vintage' TAG Heuer, only vintage Heuer.

30 years ago ( Vintage ) in my book. ( 1984 )

http://www.calibre11.com/tag-heuer-catalogues/1985...

These watches are branded *heuer* but are in-fact Tag-Heuer so for augments sake , vintage Tag Heuer ? hehe

The very last Heuer catalogue- with Techniques d’Avant Garde (TAG) having bought Heuer in 1984. While this catalogue talks about the new TAG-Heuer partnership, the watches are all branded

It was the transitional period. 1983-85 they were owned by Nouvelle Lemania (after Lemania was sold out of SSIH group - Omega/Lemania/Tissot). They were still 'Heuer' rather than 'TAG Heuer', although I suppose it could be said that true 'Heuer' used their own movements (chronograph-wise), i.e. Cal 12-15.
