Looks like I'm not going to have time to sort the gearbox and rear dif mount before Anglesey on Monday.

This does give me the time to sort out all my bits to do the job 'once'.

I've got the uprated rear dif mount and new bolt fixings.

I've got the uprated gearbox mount and understand Mike's [Philpot] bracket mods.

I've also got a standard gearbox mount on order should need arise.

What about the mounts on the front of the dif? Seems a bit remiss not to uprate these as well (as I'll be tracking the car a lot) but does anyone have a link to where uprated ones are available from? I'm assuming they are a Ford item of some description but which one? The bible doesn't seem to have info on them (although I've yet to check my two Haynes manuals). I recall reading about standard ones on a thread but, can I find that now? No, typical rolleyes

Thanks muchly.

Are these suitable, what do people think?

I appreciate they are not S/S base plates.

As an alternative would removing the rubber and fitting these to the base plates work?

Does anyone have the dims of the mount to hand please?

Mounting holes are 8mm and 92mm centre to centre

Central hole is 12mm and the 32mm deep, approx 25mm one side, plate 3mm and 4mm other side.

The rubber on the thin side sticks out further than the steel bush/tube making the whole thing about 34mm.

hope that makes sense?

Found those Cossie ones myself a little while ago but never got around to checking dimensions (looks like a 10mm bolt in the centre to me)?
