Got a brand new Alfa Gulietta in Majorca as a hire car. ( Slightly gutless but nice enough).

Found this bag in the glove-box. Standard fitment in new Alfas?

Isn't that the bag of rattle screws? Since they are trying to go all posh without any dash rattles you can add some loose screws for the authentic Alfa Romeo passion and tradition.

Seriously pathetic build quality. The car has now done 400 kilometres and has at least 3 seriously annoying rattles and squeaks. The drivers seat also doesn't appear properly fixed down and can rock slightly on its mountings.

Have heard that hire cars don't always go through the same thorough PDI procedure as customer/dealer cars.

Seems to be par for the course these days. The A45 AMG I tested a few weeks back had far more rattles than my 4 year old Evo despite being only 2 months old with a couple of hundred miles on it. Pathetic!

Alfa LOWER their quality control for hire cars? I SERIOUSLY struggle with that concept!!!

Actually they're from the factory...

They're simply the ones they had leftover when they finished building it...

In all seriousness I suspect that it might be something to do with a fitment kit, i.e I can't imagine any factory would have a screw kit like that for the workers to open and fit

The only time I have seen a bag of something like that is when the car comes into the dealer and there is a numberplate fixing kit.

Or simply nothing to do with the factory at all.
