I accidentally managed to pull out a power cable for the solenoid for the boot release on a recent trip when caught out in a downpour.
Used my emergency backup for the first time and jammed solid, useless.
Used another much lower tech entry route and refitted the solenoid cable in seconds.
Just thought I should warn that a quick test of the backup worth it now rather than in a car park, at night in the rain.
Still, my 9 year old son thought it great fun, doh.
