Unusual car in the UK. I think most of them were built for export to the USA.
I assume this car was built for the Japanese home market, as it has the "Fairlady" badges, rather than the "Datsun 1600" badges.

There are a handful in the UK although they were never officially sold here. Popular in the USA as mentioned above, which will probably be the best source of parts. I don't think anything is shared with later Datsun saloons/coupes. Someone connected with the Atwell-Wilson museum in Calne has one which I saw on display there earlier in the year, it gets used as well.

Looks are not unlike an MGB, although the original Fairlady was actually launched slightly earlier.
