Gents some advice please, I have had a D70s for a good few years and it has served me well, I have seen a few second hand D7000 bodies for £3-400, I quite like the idea of being able to shoot some video now and again, and I assume I can use my lenses on the 7000, is it a worthy upgrade? I should add the camera gets used for holidays mostly so landscapes, city scenes, kids surfing etc.
Thanks

I recently upgraded from a D80 to a D7000, it was worth it for me - faster/more accurate AF, much better high ISO performance etc.

It's a massive jump so I would say definitely yes. The subject matter isn't important, what you'll enjoy in reality is the large high-res monitor that scrolls quickly and boundless ISO. Much easier and faster to work with than a D70.

Another YES!
I've just gone from a D90 to D7100 and the quality is amazing, especially higher ISO.

Had a D70 before the D90.
