I'm having some issues with the drivers side window on my DB9. When putting the window up, as the glass appears above the frame and starts slotting into the front part next to the wing mirror, the fitting isn't flush and there appears to be some excess rubber. This snags a bit, causes some squeek's and slightly slows the action down.

Is this a common problem? I can;t find any mention of it on a search. What is annoying is that i've only noticed it since the car was back at the local dealership to have new door seals fitted.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Worn seal, I had same problem on my DB9 Volante. IIRC it was £80 for the seal and as in for a service the dealer didn't charge any labour.

Thanks Horts. I've got to go back to the dealer for something else, so will get them to sort.

If its had new door seals fitted I would try a window reset just in case.

Similar problem for me, Stratstone are charging £240 to fix it, which I presume is £80-odd for the seal, and one hour labour.

Tried this thanks, but no joy.

Spent an hour fiddling around and comparing it to the passenger side (which is perfect). Some of the elasticity seems to have gone, but I can't help but think this is due to the new door seal fitted.......
