Hello everybody!

Having noticed that there are a few people who are in the Formula Student competition who post on this site. I was wondering who else is on here who is involved. The list so far is:

ginge (that's me) - Loughborough
lumrobbo - Loughborough
rat7 - Loughborough
jagwireXKR - Loughborough
danmitchell - Hertfordshire
frik - Cardiff

If anyone else is out there please add your name to the list.

Also, who's going to the autosport show and is anyone up for a little "Get the most famous person to pose by the car for a cheeky photo opportunity" competition as suggested in a previous post?

I nearly did it last year, however our Uni wouldn't fund it so we had to put in £200 to start it and then ~ £50 a month + what ever parts we needed.

There was one made but it was too expensive for me to consider so I bought a real car instead

There's a few more about IIRC. I'd have a look now but naturally I've got a Thermodynamics lecture at 9.

I've got Performance Evaluation revision lecture all about modelling

Have to be up at 7 to leave by 7:50 to get to town for 8:30 and wander to lecture.

Still, what use is been an Insomniac if you don't post on PH in the middle of the night?

Luckily uni is only an 8 minute bike ride from my house. Well, technically it's a 2 minute bike ride. The other 6 minutes are to get from one side of the campus to the other.

Also don't have anything until 11, and don't have anything I need to pay attention for until 2pm when we should be doing some casting.

Not really sure why I'm up this late. PH seems to be incredibly addictive. Not only that but I seem to go on more when coursework deadlines are looming. Unlikely to make much progress now so off to bed I go!

Don't forget, fellow FSers add your name to the list!

12.43pm and you think you've got insomnia. Come back at 4.30 and then you'll know what insomnia really is.

Good luck with the auto challenge thing Ginge, sounds exciting. Good to see that you've got your uni behind you.

Now, get to bed docevi1 and do some work tomorrow!

No. Stay up and do some work done, you've got atleast 3 hours before you can get to bed. I hate Young and Euler, Their Mothers were hamsters and their Fathers smelts of Elderberries.

The youth of today eh? Back when I was a lad, you didn`t call it insomnia until you had been awake for three weeks. Pussies, the lot of `em.

Ah, but you see there, I go to bed and lie there until 3 or 4 and then manage to dose of slightly and wake up at 6:30.

I guess it's not "insomnia" just lack of ability to sleep

Unlucky about the thermo lecture. I'm sure that most of that stuff is just made up...

I'll be at Autosport on the Sunday so won't see you I'm afraid. Anyone about on the Sunday should come over to the Loughborough stand and come and say hi (if you want obviously, not going to twist anyones arm...)

I'm definitely going to Autosport though not entirely sure which day yet. I think we're having a stand this year too but with it being the weekend before exam week no one wants to be there for the whole 4 days .

To everyone going to Autosport, don't forget to

Your 2004 car was quality. The only team to have a carbon fibre tub iirc. Did rather well in the event too! Good to hear from you.

Is there anyone else out there?

Didn't see your 2003 car I'm afraid. Only got properly involved for the 2004 event. Judging by your record I bet it was also rather good
