What deg of water temp does the second fan come on at?

Mine comes in at 95 for second one I think

Reason I ask is it was hot today when I went for a spin and back in the garage the first fan stayed on for ages and the temp hovered around 92/93.
Seemed to me like the second fan should step in and help lower the temp so they could both turn off!

HTH's and it depends on your sensors/dash reading which are not what the fans/ECU sees. They have a separate temperature sensor which can be "slightly" different to the reading you see on the dash? If you have the MBE software that will display the temperatures the fan1 and 2 come on/off at?

About 92 & 96 degrees. Read out on the dash is not the same as the ECU that controls the fans so what you see on the dash may be incorrect.

Agreed Andy my 4.3 was in for service at TvR the dash was indicating 98 and ECU was showing 90 that's at static of course
