Hi

I've previously posted on here regarding my search for a grey 997.1 coupe. I'm also considering a convertible, and would be interested to know if anyone is looking to part with a car similar to the following spec:

- 997.1 Turbo
- Manual
- Black with black leather
- Ideally 07 or 08 registered
- Up to 45,000 miles (but much lower is preferable)

Thanks in eager anticipation!

Have you driven one? I bought a 997 3.8S cab and I hated it. Handling was not great. It had PASM but it was too stiff and jittery and turned off the car wasn't great and I had no confidence in the corners. I sold it after less than a year and bought a 997 Turbo coupe, much better (although I miss the open air).

My advice would be to drive a few for a decent amount of time first. The turbo might have better set up, I don't know?

I too enjoy open air motoring, it's great to hear the noise....but oh, yeah... the Turbo doesn't make any!

So, based on that, i'd certainly drive one first against a coupe.

Thanks all - good advice. I've driven one cab and two coupes... But probably haven't spent enough time in a cab. I'm looking to drive one tomorrow so will see how it goes!
