How many have you had onthe list and do you agree?

I have had

8 Burgers
5 sandwiches
2 Chicken
5 Burritos

I am in the US though so have a home advantage.

I am not a fan of Five guys and smash burger because they are both greasy. Smash burger is only up there as it is relatively new. The best burritos come from Chipotle who appear to be taking over the world

You reckon? laugh

"recent release of Consumer Reports on best and worst fast food restaurants in the United States"

I've had a Wendy's in Leeds years ago. And Five Guys in Reading last week. That's it.

It's surprising how regional the chains are. A lot I have never heard of. I thought it was an interesting list as US burgers are often mentioned here and the travel forum. It gives an idea about how they rate against each other

3 from the burgers (over 35 years!) and 1 from each of the other, again 30+ years!

My first Subway was last week... it was also my last!

Texas hometown advantage!

Interesting list actually... Not sure I agree with a lot of it but I have odd taste!

I had some chicken strips, onion rings and macaroni and cheese for lunch today... $3.99 biggrin

14 burgers, from a few holidays smile

Can't believe whitecastle are in the middle. When I was there, it was where all the tramps hung out cos the cheapest burgers were like 80cents or something. If you opened up the burger, there were holes cut out of it like a slice of swiss cheese.

I have never had a better burger than Naps Grill in Missoula tho, 12 years ago.

I can't fathom how White Castle placed so high on the list, people must be voting based on nostalgia rather than quality or taste. I would put Fuddruckers and Popeyes top of their lists.

Interesting list.

5 burgers (Whataburger at the top for me).

4 sandwiches (Schlotzsky's at the top for me).

3 Chicken (Popeye's at the top for their tenders and red beans and rice, although Chick-fil-A make really nice sandwiches).

3 burritos (Chipotle at the top for me).

Man I miss ATX.

Seems the ones in the UK are close to the bottom of their lists?

Fuddruckers had a good burger but poor fries. Bonus points for having a sort of salad bar to add your own toppings and sauces.

You could hardly consider them fries though. They are potato wedges despite what Fuddruckers may choose to call them. Anyone expecting typical French Fries would be disappointed, but I quite like the wedges.

Home court advantage again.

As someone mention - no fatburger in that list. And White castle don't deserve to be there either.

Tried Fatburger last month, it was decent. Another business trip next week so now I have a few more places to try on that list!
