Vantage 4.7 remap

I know the 4.2 is regularly remapped to up torque and bhp, however I have not see many 4.7 re maps, does anyone have any experience of remapping a 4.7?

Waste of time. The gains, if any, are going to be marginal at best.

Have a read of the first couple of pages Bamford Rose sticky at the top of the page to find out why.

FYI, the same applies to the 4.3. With a highly tuned NA engine, it isn't possible to add many horses or torques by a remap alone. Anybody who tells you otherwise is either a snake oil merchant or a liar.

Only solution for more horses is a V12V, I did this from a 4.7 rather than spend on upgrades

More than one solution but either way, a remap isn;t it unless you do other things to the engine first
