how do I make an online album for invited people only

I took some photo's of a school summer show and would like the kids and parents to be able to view them. It would be for their eyes only as I'm not sure how some parents might feel about me putting images of their kids up for anyone to view. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Set up a gallery with the one of Pixieset, Instaproofs, Smugmug or Zenfolio and set it for password access. Then just circulate the password and gallery URL to the parents.

I use Pixieset for my clients, so know that one the best. Probably they will all do similar, but with Pixieset you can enter in a list of e-mail addresses and it will automatically send out a mail with the link to the gallery and the password. You can also set the gallery to allow the images to be downloaded if you want (either for free or paid).

Pixieset and Instaproofs have free sign up options, not sure about Smugmug and Zenfolio.

Thanks Martin, that's very helpful. I'm not doing this professionally for the school, just for my wife really though it's nice if the parents can see the results. However, the world being what it is, I don't want to upset any of these 'delicate' parents!
