Have a look on the BMW web site under 'offers'. The starting point is a combined dealer and BMW deposit contribution of £27,645.27 on an M6 GC if you take finance at 4.9% APR.

Best start point is broadspeed for an indication, they are showing 27.5k off an M6 and 30k off the M6 GC

£34K was possible last month, but I think that discount has passed, I got my order in for 1st September.

Punt around and play them off against each other.

I have just ordered one for September 1st delivery, I got £34,000.00 off the car! They seem to be giving massive discounts at the min, doesn't fill me with confidence with what it will be worth in a year or so!!

If you use your discount as your GTF after 12 months you won't be disappointed wink

I guess it'll depreciate at the same rate any other big car would, from the discounted new price.

Comrie, it was on a coupe with competition pack and a lot of other extras! The man maths make it to good to walk away from!!! They also did me a good deal on my F10 M5 as part ex.

I think if you actually wrote down the figures and converted them to say the cost of a new family car you'd shocked at how much you'll lose on year 1, not quite so much again year 2 etc. but it's all about affordability.

You don't go into ownership of a car like the M6 GC expecting anything other than to be bummed come time of part-ex or whatever.

Different note - looks like I'm not far off the tread wear bars on my M5 after about 5k miles (I'll probably manage 7k maximum), what are other owners getting out of theirs?

I see that a few forum members include the competition pack when specifying there options

is this something that greatly improves an already good car ?
is it a must have ?
does it help improve what the future value of the car would be ?
does the sports exhaust improve the sound greatly ?

any opinions as always greatly received

thanks

I have 10K almost on mine and tyres are not even worn much.
It goes in September so no tyre replacements for me.
You must be caning it off the line for tyre wear like that.
