Vixen Gearbox

I am looking for a replacement 4-speed gearbox. Engine is a 1600GT x-flow. Last eBay one I purchased was 'reconditioned' but I reckon that only meant it had been cleaned and painted.

Any ideas ??

I believe my Crossflow has a Ford 2000E gearbox. It's still 4 speed but apparently is a stronger box than the standard unit. Feels good to drive and certainly suits the tuned engine (around 120ish BHP).

The only way to be certain is to have your own rebuilt.
The 2000e is a desirable box but still easy to find. I picked one up local a few months ago.

Check on 105speed, turbosport and oldskoolford as they pop up now and again.
