What car from your childhood would you most like to own?

It's a close call but for being a Touring car and tarmac rally legend, being a bit more exclusive and very tuneable, I think a Ford Sierra RS500 Coswotth would be my top choice.



I could have chosen something more exotic granted but having acquired it, I could still reasonably expect to afford to drive and run it (albeit not as my DD)!

Henson M30 kit car, used to visit someone afew streets over from my parents sometimes. Had a DeLorean-esquire brushed metal finish going on, looked like a very exotic thing to my uneducated young eyes.

It's lost some of its appeal now that I know what's under the skin, but at the time I may as well of been looking at a Lamborghini.

So obviously numerous US muscle cars,Aston V8,Ferrari Daytona,Jaguar 420 S type,BMW 3.0 Si,Jaguar XJ12.Could never afford to buy or run the first 4 options.But did eventually have one of the 5th and still have one of the 6 th.

I was a kid in the 1970s. Loved the Dolly Sprint, Capri 3.0S, SD1 Vitesse, RS2000, Mini 1275GT and MK1 Scirocco. Meanwhile my Dad, with the exception of an Audi 100 5E, drove heartbreakers such as Minis, Maxis and an Austin Ambassador.

I have been obsessed with them ever since.
