Am considering a Hirsch rubber strap on a Sub. RubberB is £160 odd but the Hirsch is £40 therefore not such an expensive mistake if I don't get on with it.

So, my questions; has anyone done similar and what is Hirsch quality like?

Thanks.

Used to stock Hirsch straps back in the day when I had a jewelery shop, top class straps and bracelets. I had a "carbon fibre" strap on a GMT and Omega speedmaster-looked good

Looking at that pic, I seems that the Hirsch doesn't have the same shape as the Rubber B at the ends. The Rubber B is sharper to simulate an end link, so fills the gap that a square ended strap leaves, as in this case.

That takes me closer to a decision - very nice. How does the Hirsch wear and have you had any issues with durability?

My Deepsea on a Rubber B, not the best picture ever, but it does show how well it fits and how good it looks,

I think the Rubber B looks better and on a Rolex I would be tempted to pay the extra as it deserves it; that said it is a lot more expensive.

i tried my Explorer 1 (39mm) on some Nato's and just couldn't get on with it long term so back on the bracelet within a week.
