S/H DSLR Prices

I'm not getting something with s/h prices. I followed a used Canon 100d and a 600d body on ebay. Both went for more than I could pick up a used m- or exc++ from MBPhoto or LCE, complete with guarantee. One 100d body is now up to £295 +£11 postage..


What? why? I'm all for sellers getting what a camera's worth but normally ebay sales are lower than dealer's used prices.

Nope, ebay prices are bonkers a lot of the time. People get carried away with the "thrill" of the auction and end up over-spending. Makes it a decent place to sell but buy there with caution.

Quite. I sold something for £100 more than it was new at the time.
