Well look what a friend just sent me....

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C516935#

This is what happens when a trader buys your Wedge.....If they get that for her i would be very surprised...However there is only the interior to finish...Oh and the hood...That is proper shagged..That plenum could do with a polish...Oh and the....I want her back....cry.....Mind you if someone does buy it for that much and then joins this forum it will be their lucky day....I have a Sprintex S102 blower kit that fits straight on...No messing about...Nothing else needed...Just bolt on and instant 50-70 horses and around the same in ftlbs....Delilah...You cow......

Bits he hasn't mentioned...

4-pot princess calipers with vented discs...
Uprated UJ's and trailing arm mounts.
Rebuilt steering rack...
Custom made switchgear what i wished i had removed!!
Stainless steel manifolds..
New brake master and servo....
Rebuilt metering head and WUR
New top and bottom steering UJ's....
Original TVR embossed door handles that were a gift and i should of removed!!!
New front and rear wheel bearings...
Uprated air intake....
And last but not least probably the bag of washers that i have been looking for as i know i had some!!!...

BYE-BYE Delilah......weeping

Just noticed...Who lost the stereo cage trim?......I also mis-spelt her name in the main title....

Hi mate...Can you see the edges of the stereo housing..Well you shouldn't be able to as there should be a black plastic trim that clips over the facing edge....

Me too...Oh hang on thats me....Well apart from the rip in the O/S, The thread starting to come undone around the misty rear window and some more wear lines that look like they too will end up like the slit on the O/S it okay...It only leaks..(Or did) a tiny amount and the embarrassing part is that it drips into your lap and makes it look like you have wet yourself....The roof struts could do with a washer behind each fixing and that would help push the rear section against the targa panel and windscreen pillars for a tighter fit..

The carpet is threadbare old sitting room stuff...But the potential is there....Ziga

No photo of completely dodgy part of roof, maybe he's fixed it or will do if he gets a serious offer.
Think he may have fixed door cards. He also got a new fan control system in a bag to be fitted coz the stat had packed up.
Tobz on the other hand is muzzled right back up with his mini and its dodgy new parts which get replaced with more dodgy new parts, needlework, thats the way to go next time.

If i was looking for a reliable...Tidy..Economical...(laugh) fun daily classic runabout then i would pay around 2-2.5K for her..I can now confidently say that i could sort out the interior for way less than a grand and it would look and be properly done..And thats everything including seats!....Hood and Targa panel...£500.

Tell Toby mini's are for girls....tongue out ...Only messing...But they are....hehe

All cars are money pits...They're just different shapes.....

It would be nice to see Delilah again...Maybe the new buyer will become a member on here and come to the fest next year...
