My long suffering wife noted how dingy the rear lights are on our Griff.

Is this generally true or just my car ?

Is it TVR wiring again, and maybe improved through use of LED bulbs that draw less current ?

What's keeping up with you, long enough to see your rear lights?

I swapped the brake lights for LEDs successfully. However the tail/fog light bulb doesn't seem to be available. I think with a small mod to the holder it may be possible to fit the Fiesta bulbs that are available but I've not got round to trying yet

I've been in contact with the Car Mod Shop as they said the offset pins were very rare but my dads Octavia also has offset bulbs so they were going to order some. If there is more interest then I'm sure they would get a batch in.

The rear light/fog light has pins at different height but they are also offset (ie not opposite) each other. Found out the hard way as I bought 2 sets.

yes I just spotted that - weird and not so easy to find - busy googling.

did you try modifying the ones you bought in error - I guess one 'ear' needs removing and somehow putting back in the right place.

Not at 30 odd quid a pair.
I've agreed to swap the 2 sets for the brake lights and I'd order the others when he has them
BAZ15D I think is the code you need for the rear/fog light combo. I'm waiting for them to come in as the brightness will be all over the place with different wattages.

Don't get too hung up on the offset pins chaps.
I filed one of the pins off to make a bulb fit and have never had a problem with them.

I should be able to get the correct ones so will be hanging on. The others do fit with a faff about but not easy to get the bulb in or out, but I couldnt get the right angle to get the fog light to be the bright one which defeats the object.
