HT Leads - which angle

Dear all,
I want to remove the plug extenders and place the leads directly on to the spark plugs... Do I use Straight, 45 degree or 90 degree? I have the little socks for protecting the HT lead from the heat.. I think I should use the straight connection any confirmations?

i've used 135' degree leads from real steel, and thens some plug boots from eBay i think
