What car under 8k

Currently driving a remapped diesel Fabia vRS which I love in ways.
However, I've had it a while and fancy a change especially now as I'm doing some long journeys. (C. 20k miles PA)

Would like something with good spec, auto gearbox and something brisk essential. Would like something that will crack 60 in under 8 secs. Don't mind remapping to get there. Desirables: Cruise, leather, upgraded stereo.

Budget of 8k, want something under 7ish years old. Quite keen on Passat 170's but would like to hear other suggestions...

I like them both, only challenge is that for the money I'm willing to spend the only examples I can find are older cars with higher mileage and not much spec.
I have only searched for automatic versions, but I would only buy an automatic now...

Incorrectly listed as a DSG, manual in reality. Still, a couple of other DSG vRS in the right ball-park.
